Valspar Automotive Clear Coat is a 2.1 VOC, Euro-style, polyurethane clearcoat with a 2:1 mix ratio.

- EC21 - 5L Clear
- H2170 - 2.5L Fast Activator
- H2180 - 2.5L Medium Activator
- H2190 - 2.5L Slow Activator
Mixing Ratio
Achieve optimal performance by mixing two (2) parts of EH21 2.1 VOC Euro Clearcoat with one (1) part of H2170, H2180, or H2190 Activator. This precise 2:1 mixing ratio ensures proper curing and enhances the overall finish.
Application
- Spray two (2) to three (3) coats of Valspar Automotive Legacy EC21 Euro Clearcoat to achieve the desired depth and clarity.
- Allow each coat to become non-stringing before applying the next coat, ensuring a smooth and flawless finish.
- For optimal results, apply the clearcoat at a dry mil thickness of 2.0 to 3.0 mils (51-75 μm), delivering both protection and aesthetics.
- Maintain a surface temperature between 50-100°F / 10-38°C during application, with less than 80% ambient humidity preferred. Avoid spraying when the surface temperature falls below 50°F (10°C) to ensure proper adhesion and curing.
